I was wondering if anyone has heard of this boat before, its called ski brendella, I have been looking at one and thinking about buying it, tommorow i am going to take a ride in it and check out the wake and how it rides. I just want to make sure these boats are not a pease of crap or anything before i buy it. I took at look at it an its in good shape, The guy before previous owner used it as a wakeboad boat. so hopefully it is not to bad. I just want to know if anyone knows anything about these boats, supposably they still make them just not the same name. If anyone can help i will apreciate it. Thanks

finksta32, Brendella was a family owned and operated company that made a great boat. From what I have heard the families had some issues and the company split. Now one brother Mike Brendel owns MB Sport which makes boats like the B-52 and the rest of the family owns Calabria. So the family is still making boats just under different names.

That's the story behind Brendella. I don't know much about the boats themselves.

The story is somewhat correct but they weren't brothers. Bob Jessen is the owner of Calabria and his last name is not Brendel, hence not brothers.

Back to the real point...the brendellas were really good boats as were the supras malibu skiers, and the centurions in the day. If it is the shortline Comp, it was such a good ski boat, Calabria still makes it with little change.

I have a 93 Ski Brendella Sport Comp with a tower and the wake is pretty decent. The only issue I have is that the bow sits really low to the water and if your not careful you will swamp the boat. I know the rule for weighting your boat is 60 Rear and 40 Front (Wakeboad Mag. Jul Issue) but you really have to be careful putting weight in the front as it makes it sit even lower to the water. Other than that the boat has ran great.

Yea we have a ski brendell. They are are nice boat. As far as the wake goes, its no monster wake. But hey throw some fat sacs in there and you will be all set. Yea and be careful when you slow down cuz the nose just goes right down
