|
|
It's been my one complaint about Hyperlite bindings, their lace locks are kind of weak. I noticed on the last couple rides last season my locks were coming loose, especially the ones in the upper zone that gets flexed a lot. I like the locks on my brothers CWB Zeus bindings, they hold tight and have held up for 2 seasons. I've checked CWB's site and they don't sell them, I've also looked at most of the usual online retailers. Any ideas for a fix for this? Or anyplace I can buy new locks?
**Edit** I did find a Ronix lace kit with locks. I know a lot of you guys ride ronix, are the locks any good? Easy to tighten and release?
**edit edit** Never mind, I found them (CWB) on boardstop of all places _________________

| In the future you can try contacting the companies directly and they might be able to help you out. I haven't seen a lot of kits out there for stuff like this (although I've never really looked to be honest, haha). |

The ronix lace locks are solid. You shouldnt have any trouble with them other than mabe length. Not sure what length laces your taking off. If you cant find any direct replacements, the ronix laces will definitely suite your needs. _________________ Rider: "Howd that last trick look?"

9DROZD, I'm not going to replace them with HL locks because frankly they suck. I'm thinking that since my Murray's have dual lace zones the Ronix kit maybe the way to go since they come in a 4 pack.
pat8839, Damn, I looked all over their site and couldn't find those, maybe I've taken one to many smacks in the melon _________________

| I actually have an extra set of those same CWB lace locks if you'd just like me to send you them, shoot me your address and they'll be on their way. |

laces and locks are a pain to find. I have ordered the CWB and the Ronix kits and it is actually hard to keep them in stock.
I have tried to find just bulk cord that will work for laces and have not found a good source for just cord.
The Ronix grips have snapped a few times for some customers. The little clip that holds them to the bindings seems to break real easy. _________________ Wakeskating

| I've not had any issues with my ronix lace locks - knock on wood - my kids hyperlite remix - one of the lace locks is broken and it's a PIA to loosen. I've sent a couple E-mails to hyperlite and they have yet to respond- I'll call monday |
