I have a 2008 mastercraft x45. Please correct any wrong assumptions.
I'm trying to make the tower speakers louder. They are 4 JL Audio M770's powered by a JL Audio M4300 amplifier. Do you know how this came factory wired? I first thought it was wired as 2 parallel pairs bridged to the amp. However, this would mean 1 parallel pair would be a 2 ohm load and the amplifier doesn't support 2ohm bridged, so this probably isn't the case. Would it be better if I got rid of 2 speakers and bridged the other 2 so they would be getting 150W?
Thanks!
Edit: the more I think about it, I'm thinkin' the speakers must be wired straight to each channel |
