Hi folks,
I am thinking about buying a 2010 Hyperlite Marek Bio wakeboard. Has anyone ridden one, or own one, and if so what is your opinion of it.
Thanks

I've ridden the bio and the regular marek and like both of them...they don't feel all that different other than the small weight difference. I like really fast boards withgood pop and having said that I switched from the marek to the humanoid oracle and won't be looking back!

I bought the Marek Bio at the end of last season and love the board. I wanted a board with the same feel as my old 3DS just lighter and was not disapointed. I got mine for under $200 so I was prety stoked at the time and I see that evo gear has the 2010 blem on sale for $221 (with the 25% discount) still seems like a prety good deal.

Thanks for the replies guys. Any feedback on landing out in the flat? Does it do a good job on softening up the landing?

Yup (for me at least). It has a shape on the bottom that makes the board land softer. I noticed a big difference from my old board to the Marek. The landings didn't hurt my knees at all when I landed out into the flats with the Marek.

I went from riding the 07 Watson to 09 Marek Nova Core(i'm pretty sure they didnt make any big changes from 09 to 10) and the Marek was defaintly a faster more responsive board. Landings are a little smoother on the watson. Overall I liked the watson more just because it felt more smooth but the marek was still a good board. Also I crack the marek after about 20 rides but I got it warrantied and received a 2011.
