Fins at Mccormicks?

I ride a slingshot. Im taking a trip to Mccormicks cable next month. Im basically going to slide on everything there. Will i need to take my fins off to do tail slides amd other stuff there? Someone with experinece there would help

isuckatwakin, depends on your preference. some people ride with fins with their flex boards, some don't. The board obviously can press better with more surface area on the slider but if you want to hit the kickers then it is obviously better to have your fins for the landings. Bring your fins and try out both ways and see what suits your style the best. Some of the kids that can press the best aren't even on flex boards, but the kids that really know how to work them make it look super sick but if you aren't in really good control then it can look funny. Just go out there and have fun. That's what mccormicks is all about. It isn't a contest out there at all like it can be at other parks.

isuckatwakin, As far as the rules go, you can leave your fins on if you like. But ky1e put it pretty well, just try both ways if you're not sure what you'd like better.

I've seen a Slingshot break where the fins are from sliding a rail at a cable, just saying...
