looks good!
i take it in your neck of the woods you don't have to tow over any mountain passes? I got rid of my yukon because it just didn't have the tourque to make it up the hills. My new ride should be here tomorrow...

| Yeah, won't be hauling over any mountains. I also hope the tranny holds up - as well as the rest of the car. I can't believe how smooth it rides, but I'm coming from a dodge 2500 that rode like its tires were made of bricks.

What happen to the Dodge? I called dibs on it when you first bought it.
Congrats on the new girl!

Traded in the Dodge. You didn't want it. It was aweful. Between 65-75 mph, I could bounce a quarter on the dash. The rear door locks stopped working. One of the rear seatbelt return springs broke. The edge programmer had a short in it somewhere. The front suspension on those trucks was just poorly designed and was basically unfixable unless you put a huge $5k lift on it or changed everything out to the newer suspension setup. Even then, with anything over stock wheel/tire sizes, you run into vibration problems. Comfort-wise, I compare it to driving the 1979 CJ7 that I had in college. I disliked everything about that truck except for the motor, wheels/tires, camper shell, and the fact that it had a bed. I'm sure that the newer Dodge trucks are much nicer on the inside, but I felt like I was driving a neon.
Also, from what I've read, Diesel is going to skyrocket over the next few years due to the increasing demand in developing nations and in Europe. It's already $.50 a gallon more here than regular unleaded. That truck got 17-18mpg, but that's offset by the extra fuel cost.
I don't know whether or not I'll keep the wheels though. The folks at my office will likely rib me pretty hard over having chrome 22's on my rig.

Looks slick! that will look good towing the A22...I have been disappointed in my 05 Silverado. Transmission line from the radiatior to tranny had to be replaced. 2 other friends with 05 silverado's are getting replaced too, leaking at the same spot. 45 bucks but a pain to put in. Apparently my rack and pinion has to be replaced too. Ive also only got 49k miles on it which frustrates me. Its made me sour to buying GM, let me know how yours holds up. I'm convinced that 05 just wasnt a good year for them. Your's looks better built than my 05...

I've done a lot of research and the Denali's have their share of problems with the AWD system and the transmissions, but those issues are not any more prevelant than the issues people have with most cars built these days.
BTW, my cousin alredy asked if I got a free tech-9 with the purchase of this vehicle.

LOL!
You could probably swap for some late model Denali wheels/tires. I prob would.
My Mom just picked up a black/black '09. The 405hp LS3 is a pretty sweet powerplant.

| Looks nice, and will be a LOT more comfortable than your Dodge. If it was my ride I would get rid of the wheels ASAP.

I've got an 07 Sierra Crew Cab and just sold an 08 Tahoe. The 07 has 65k+ miles on it and the Tahoe had around 40k. No problems on either one. Just routine maintenance and tires. However, I did have an 05 Silverado before this and the transmission went out on it at about 30k miles. However, trucks break stuff. It's one of the great benefits of owning one though.
Nice ride. I would ditch the wheels as well. Pull all the chrome, put some solid black 24's on it, then go buy the Tec-9.

Yeah, I'm going to weigh my options and see what I can make happen. I really like how it rides right now, so I'm somewhat scared to mess with it. Also, finding a place to mount and balance 22'' wheels/tires is a biatch. If I decide to do something, I'll probably just order some other wheels like the one's pictured and then put the ones on my truck on craigslist.
Again, I hate messing with something that's not giving me any problems, but I'm just not a big chrome rim guy.

I'm not much of a rim guy myself (especially chrome...too gaudy), but a black on black truck can be a thing of beauty with the right wheels. If you do decide to make the carpets match the drapes in lieu of your Vandall Edition Axis, may I suggest KMC Monsters. Popular as all get out, but for good reason.

One of the few rim styles I'd actually pay money for to replace perfectly good stockers. In fact, I did. I have bigger pictures if you'd like...I just didn't want to blow up the margins.

Erik, got me bud, it's just a gloss black boat with a black tower and a black z5 and black wetsounds 485s and black trailer with black wheels. There are some shiny parts here and there and the black is not flat. Oh well!

Not mine but it is exactly the same (I don't believe in driving SUVs anywhere but in smooth mall parking lots). Been raining here so no time for love Dr. Jones.

J-Ro, from the looks of it, the only thing you might be able to tell apart is them jeans.
I'm sorry but I've never gotten the all black thing. Isn't it's 15 minutes up yet?

All black = sleak and clean, timeless. Mudered out (matte black, blacking out the lights, no decals) = trying WAY too hard be thuglife.
