I do not remember boss bindings. You could have some type of CWB package board sold at a big box store.

you can get way better. Bindings have come a long way since then. start at something like an LF trip/Index combo or Ronix Vault/Divide. you'll be way happier.

If you already have it I would just ride it and see how you like wakeboarding. If it is something you want to do then look at getting another board after you have been riding for the season. If he can return it then you might want to shop around.

It's always good to have a generic beginner board around anyway. That way when you have a nicer setup and your friends want to learn how to ride they won't tear up your primary setup. Nice of your dad to get you started. I agree you should see if you really like boarding before you invest in anything newer. I started on a hydroslide board with universal bindings that were way too big for me.

Like everyone said, you can do better. An old board like that should be given away, not sold. Not that you can't learn and shred on it.

You asked about the Faction setup, that is a great combination. If it's a 2010 then even better. I've ridden all the CWB decks and it is my favorite, nice and stable to learn on and a board you can ride at an advanced level. Just ask Nick Jones.
