|
|
Hey guys,
I have a 2000 sunsetter lxi with a monsoon and today it was running a little hot and I noticed that when in neutral my oil pressure would drop, rise, remain contsant, then drop again, and rise. Maybe I have just never really paid that close attention to this gauge, but is this normal? When opening up the throttle everything seemed fine. It was extremely humid today, could that have something to do with it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks - Robert |

Hey,
Normal when the engine is in neutral, the oil pressure should drop and when you're opening the throttle, the oil pressure should raise.
if your pressure is below 5 PSI, you should check your oil level (that is maybe to low) |

Same problem bro. I think it is normal. I posted an old thread like yours a while ago. Just search for oil pressure and you should be able to find it. _________________ If it doesn't fit, put some lube on it!!! |
