|
|
ok so been wake boarding for a long time but maybe 2 or 3 times a year. this year was differnt. had boat to myself this summer and bought a CWB FLAME board with KRUX bindings for $100. board looks brand new. looked for board for 3 months. dedicated all summer to wakeboard'n. could only stand to ride board for about ten minutes and take it off or would have dead man's feet. soap helped to get in but still too tight. i wear about a 10.5 or 11 in most shoes so when ordering bindings what size do i need and who will be the best on my wallet. also only got a 76 glastron w/ 85 hp. outboard and made a homemade base & pole toserve as a tower. REDNECK as hell but whatever it takes. so not getting full effect you guys are. water is always choppy at barren river lake + wrong boat & equipt. + wake fromm boat is too small+ 25 degrees here + snowboard disappeared = depressing as hell. wanna ride. _________________ BABY GERBER |

That is a tough question to answer. I wear a 10 shoe and I have ronix cells size 10. They are closed toe. I would probably reccomend an 11 if it is closed toe. An 11 would robably be best in open toe as well. Some bindings that arent the high end pro models will have a size range like 8-10 or 11-14. If you cant get to a shop to try some on, find some online and then check the return policy. If they dont fit, send them back and get the size you need.
Another option you can usually find decent used bindings on ebay. Buy a pair on there and if you dont like them or they dont fit, resell them.
As far as the boat goes, just keep getting out there and working on edging and single wake jumps and suface tricks. |

Buy Ronix i rode my brand new 2009 Ronix Manas twice a day for a good half hour each time for my entire summer last year and they eventually started to tear from the excessive use so I sent them back to Ronix and they sent me the 2011 Ronix Manas as a replacement. _________________ Wake Up and Wake It up |

Oh and go to a local wakeboard shop and you will be able to get a good deal on a brand new older year model. _________________ Wake Up and Wake It up |

has anyone ever tried taking out the pad that your foot sits on and shaving it down a little? just took mine apart and afraid to do anything thinking i could sell them on ebay. but also thinking if shaving down will work so theres not so much pressure on foot then i will be more comfortable for a better ride and will save money. _________________ BABY GERBER |

LAKEBOUND89, I have an old pair of Hyperlite 3060's if you want them really cheap. I think they're from like 2002 or 2003. I wore them with size 12-13 feet back in the day and they were snug but not awful so I imagine with an 11 you'd be good to go.
I'd have to find them but I imagine they're still in great condition as I tend to take care of everything I own. They're lace-up so entry/exit isn't too bad. I'll see if I can dig them up tonight.
Depending on the condition I'll probably be looking for shipping + $25 if you're interested. |
