Sick man!
Hey, what's the key to spins off the kicker? I've got the 3 and 5 down behind the boat, but the line tension off the top of the kicker is ridiculous. Recommendations? _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| Wakebrad, as a boat rider who spins a lot, Ive found cable spinning to be pretty easy IF you get the handle. As you said there is a LOT of tension on the first pass because of the high pull/springy rope, so just like Da Liks said, pull hard with both hands just as you are leaving the top, if you do that and get the first pass, Ive found that its pretty easy to stay on axis and you have a little more time to rotate than you do on the water. Ive stuck a couple 5s on cable even though I spin the last 180 slower than I do on boat. |

Wakebrad, For a 7 try to find an obstacle tree or some sort of object to line yourself up with to begin your cut. Once you are able to narrow the same cut down it will help alot with consistency. Also this way you dont have to worry about coming up short and in that case would require you to edge harder to get to the ramp creating alot more line tension. Depending on the kicker shape/size etc. one of the biggest things i see people do is start their trick early, make sure to wait till your at the top of the ramp. While keeping your handle in close as your nose is riding off the ramp extend your legs to get that pop and pull the handle from your front hip into your rear hip. There is no hard tug neccesarry and I would advise against that.
da Liks, The problem with slack is that you cant spin with it, once your body stops rotating you cannot use the line tension to further spin.
LFADAM, Key to line tension is resisting as long as possible until you are in the air, spinning off the wake or ramp will result in uncomfortable amounts of line tension. The problem with pulling hard off the ramp you simply answered yourself you say you spin the last 180 slower than you do on boat, now imagine trying to take that 5 to a 7 as your body rotation is slowing down even more. You need line tension to keep spinning. When taking a 7 to a 9 its the same thing the more line tension the better and the faster you can spin.
Keep at it guys! _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |

| Working the seatbelt grab yeah! I can't remember seeing anybody use that grab with spins on a wakeboard. I tried some last year and they are tricky. Looks good. |

toothpick, Thanks, always trying to put a twist on something. I noticed getting the grab is all in the approach I go for it right off the bat. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |
