I have a buddy that has a small lake house there... he doesn't ski or wakeboard or anything... but he says he sees people doing it there

Ed -
My buddy is renting a house on the lake there, and looking to buy at the moment. He has a Supra 21v out there that I went out with him on last season. Lake was plenty deep (though river channel marked), and you could find a spot without wind without any issues. Obviously less busy early/late in the day.

Are there any areas of the lake to look at? I have found shacks to mansions.

Flix - Same thing I saw when I was there, everything from super old cabins to crazy multi million spreads on tall bluffs. We rode in several different places on the lake while I was there over a long weekend. I'm not sure exactly where you'd want to have a house. Lake is kind of snakey so you can pick a spot based on the wind. Probably hit something with a south wall most of the time in the summer since the wind is out of the south the majority of the time. Cool thing about Lake Granbury is that Wakesport Ranch is a hop, skip, and a jump away. We did boat sessions in morning and evening with Cable session in the middle.
