I've gotta say I'm a really big fan on the way they're laying their graphics. I think it gives the board a fresh unique look and I'm really digging it. I'm definitely a fan of slingshot boards I think they're sick and have a sweet feel with the flex.

My 2 biggest concerns are this:

1) With the slider, how do we make sure we have a perfectly centered even stance? IE how do we know that after putting the boots somewhere in the middle of the slider that the front boot is equidistant from the nose as the back boot is from the tail? I suppose I could whip out my ruler, but I guess I've never felt the need for "unlimited stance options" Is there a benefit the board gets from not having the screw holes? Personally I'd prefer the traditional screw holes in the board, not the slider because then you just pop them in the same holes and you know you're perfectly centered.

2) I think slingshot is focusing a lot on cable designed boots. While I think that's fine because I'm sure the cable crowd will eat it up, there are still a lot of wakeboarders out there that solely ride behind the boat. The new boot system is just another inner liner for me to lace. I would like to see slingshot offer some traditional style boots as well.

They have traditional boots also...

If I remember correct I think the board has some stance marks to align your bindings.

cool, not trying to bag on the company at all, i really do like their boards, and that's good that they have traditional style boots as well.

I still really am not a fan of the slider thing, but they've got a way that they look like they are compatible with all the normal boots out there so I can't really complain. Overall I still prefer the bolt holes for easy eyeballing of centered stances but, whatever. Just my $.02.

Slingshot is awesome, hope they keep rockin it!
