I don't wanna hurt myself or anything but if it's as easy as everybody says it is should i just give it hell and go?? I can clear the wake and get pretty high i just don't know if i'm skilled enough to try one. |

Haha, yeah give it hell!
First off, ya just gotta go out there and try it to see what it feels like. So, after that first crash, here's what to think of (the most important out of many words of advice in my opinion):
Have a VERY progressive edge, as in wait a little longer than usual to cut in, then right before the wake, really dig your edge in. If you've ever jumped wake to wake with only cutting about 4 or 5 feet out, that's the same feeling you want.
Everybody throws these early (that I've seen) when learning. So, stand tall at the wake, and wait until your board has left the wake to start flipping. Just push the board behind you, hold onto the handle down at your hips and you'll get it!
Now go get that 50 bones!! |

| You'll increase your odds by practicing on land. I found what's better than a trampoline was tieing an old handle and line to my patio railing, and jumping of the diving board into the pool. You might be surprised at what works and what doesn't. You need a nice even cartwheel motion with the rope pulled in to your center. If the rope comes off axis, you won't have much chance. |

Make sure and look over your leading shoulder to get the rotation right....its always better to over rotate than under rotate, i learned that the hard way and a trip to the hospital. _________________ If it didn't hurt it wasn't worth tryin |
