So i'm looking into getting a new board and it looks like I can get a real good deal. However the board i ride right now is 56" and the new board is 54". Do yall think that this will have much affect on my riding?

Size might make some difference but shape will have more influence. I don't know the differences between those boards but I'm sure someone here does.
Also, what's your weight and how tall are you? _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica
I'm guessing you didn't get many responses due to the lack of information posted. All anyone on this forum could objectively tell you is what size of board you should be getting for your weight / height ratio.
The only other things that we can tell you would cater to your style. Such as if you knew whether or not you preferred continuous, 3 stage, or hybrid rockers. Or you like a really locked in board versus a loose feel.
The other thing that threw me off is the inches reading. I'm used to seeing boards in cm as most board manufacturers use the metric system. My advice would be to post your height and weight. I'm sure people will then chime in as to whether or not the board will fit you.
It would be pretty unlikely that someone here on the forum has ridden both boards and could give you direct insight although you may find a rider like you that has. I just so happen to know of one other guy on this forum that has the same taste in boards AND bindings as me. _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before.
roger that...i'm 5'11" 175 lbs...I've ridden the 05 142 byerly for about 4 years now and really like the 3 stage rocker...ready for an upgrade and figured i'd stay with the byerly line....i can get the 2010 137(54") byerly conspiracy for half retail price and was wondering if 5 cm will really make a diff with my riding...walked right into "that's what she said"
