J-Ro, Yeah the course is longer and has nice turn arounds. Its mainly a ski lake between two neighbors, trying to build some sliders and stuff over winter.

I've launched at clementine once, driving down in a f350 is a pain in the ass, I dont want to deal with what happens when two big boat/truck combos meet on that skinny ass road.

Boarding and surfing on a small local lake.
Water temp was 74 this AM.
Air temp should reach 85-87 this afternoon.
Good 'ole Arkansas Fall weather.
Cool

Still going strong over here in the UK.

46f air... waters not too far behind but seems to be ok right now.

I did move to the dry suit this weekend but friends were riding in wetsuits and no one got particularly chilly.

We are contemplating a heater system though Very Happy

You have a much bigger set then I do 54 deg water temps and you are waiting on a 4/3 that is just crazy, I was on the ski untill the water temps got to 62 last year in a shorty but could not imagine anthing starting with 5*.

Sadly I'm calling to get an appointment this week to Winterize. We are at about 150 hours from March to Nov...gotta step it up next year...Last week was in the mid 80s and water was 67, trunked it. We went out one day middle of the week, air was 61 and water was 63, last time of the season its looking like with the weather rolling in...water was calm, not another boat in sight...

Cool shots in this thread. Water is still ride-able here - air was 85 yesterday. But I'm done for the season. I got some plantar fasciitis a few weeks back so I wanted to let that heal up before Snowboard season. Then I got my wisdom teeth pulled 2 weeks ago and want to let them heal.

So I'll probably skip dry-suit season and pick it back up in March.

i think my season may officially be open, only one other person dumb enough to go out on the boat with me, can't find a third, people won't even just ride in the boat, and my usual third has apparently lost his pair since he bailed on us yesterday, at least the other wake crazy fool i know is up for building a winch

Went out with a friend last weekend. Air was 60-70 throughout the day and water was about 69. We're going to go out this coming weekend. We'll see what it's like. We've been getting some upper 30's lows and staying in the 60's for highs so I'm sure the lake temp has dropped.

I love WB.com, but this thread makes me hate its members.

I lost my $500 water pump on 4th of July weekend and haven't ridden since. It will be 9-10 months between rides for me since I won't be back in the water until April or May 2011. Crying or Very sad

pet575, That sucks!!

Went out Sat. air temp. was 67 in the parking lot, a guess at the water temp would be mid 50's, very cold with no suit. Boat goes in the 10th so I have one more weekend if the weather cooperates.

Water was rough for the first sets

Smoothed out for last sets

A few other boats out fishing other then that we had the lake to ourselves.

I was out on Halloween, It's cold!! Air 63, water 59. I'm using a heater shirt and a barefoot suit but the air temp really kept me from relaxing.

i've gone out 5 times since i last posted in this thread, found a guy with a boat here in sd so i'm still riding.
last time was yesterday, did a 4-6:30pm session.
water was a little chilly, but felt good. the problem was the cold wind, still glad i live in san diego and can ride year round. next time i'm bringing a sweater to wear on the boat between rides.

Kartman, if you are ever in san diego let me know. i'll try to find a boat for us to go on. the guy i ride with right now is moving to slc utah in a couple weeks.

DRAGON88, how does the Yukon pull the Bu? And, how do you have it equipped?

It tows alright, a little gutless but not terrible. As far as I know it's equipped like a stock Denali so the only real 'upgrade' would be the 6.0L that the Denali comes stock with (and it's AWD instead of 4wd).

Still trying to talk my parents into upgrading to an '08 V10 TDI Touareg though.

OK, thanks. We're considering a Tahoe/Yukon or Suburban to replace the truck at some point.

So, it's sluggish in the acceleration aspect of the pull? How is it as far as noticing the boat is back there? What is the weight of the Bu and trailer?
