Looking for a couple of people to take a wakeboard vacation in one of the first two full weeks in December. We would rent a house in Florida with a boat available while we are there. Cost for 5 days for house with boat will be about $600 per person. Looking for 2 or 3 additional people. I'm an old guy about 50, and kind of looking for older guys who mostly just want to wake for a week. I am open to talking to anyone who wants to go, but I'm gettin too old to wake well after partying the night before
Anyway, please send me a PM if you are interested and we will see what we can put together.
Thanks,
moto96s |

Welcome to the site! where are you from? where do you plan to rent a house? even florida gets pretty chilly in December depending on where you go.. i know orlando gets pretty cold (by my Floridian standards ) |

Thanks for Welcome aboard!
I live in Maryland and am getting ready to winterize my boat, and it is seriously bumming me out. We were out last weekend in wetsuits, but I think that's gonna be our last ride. I rented this place last year with a couple of friends and it was fantastic. Nice little house on a small lake outside of Orlando. Went week of Dec 18th last year and I wore a spring suit 3 days out of 5. Hoping for warmer weather this year, last year one of the coldest on record up here. My friends are not financially able this year, and I'd still like to go so I figured I'd see if there was any interest here.
Why are you out of comission? I don't mean to rule out younger riders, I could probably learn alot. Just want everyone to know what they are getting into. |

moto96s, hey i'll wakeboard in the morning before drink until 4am anyday Last year was actually really warm in december, but then viciously cold from christmas time until march. I'm out of commission because i screwed up my finger.. (here's a link but it's kind of graphic: http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=88070&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc) i might actually be able to ride by then but who knows... My best friend and my girlfriend actually live in Orlando, but i live in Miami so if you do get some people together i might give you a call if i'm in town |

Hey mack77!
The place is outside of Orlando. There is another thread I had started that is still on the 1st page of this forum titled "Let's take a wakeboard vacation" Check it out as it has a lot more details and a link to the house. I was hoping to go in early December as temps are usually ok then. January in this area is a total crap shoot for temps and weather as near as I can tell. Better off down south florida that time of year. Anyway I didn't get much interest so have kind of given up for December. Still need at least one more to make it worth while. Where are you from? |
