Vote help...I deserve this pay it forward deck

Last year I participated in Hyperlite/Murray's pay it forward program. Due to boat issues and timing I only got to ride the board for 1 day, and no one else in my crew got to ride it at all. Some had to work, my brother Jimmy had just got out of surgery to re-attach tendons in his hand after a dog attack. I could have been a dick head and held it for a few more days like some did. I didn't, I sent it to it's next stop as agreed so as to not ruin the stoke for the next in line to ride it.

Anyway, never thought I would see that board again. Bouncing around facebook last week I see a pic of 3 boards hyperlite is giving away in a "drawing" contest. I was like holy sh1t!!! That one on the right looks familiar. I double checked with my pics of the board, and sure enough, EXACT deck that I rode.

My artistic/photoshop skills suck, however I have a karma claim on this board lol. Anytime I see someone post a vote for this pic or whatever thread I always take the time to do so, help me out here, I'd do it for you.

Wow this is wack...my text isn't showing up???? GRRRR WTF!!!! I tried to make the whole url a link and it hides my text....great it will have to be copy and pasted into a browser...I'm screwed no one will do that Evil or Very Mad

can only hyperlite "friends" click like?

edit: yup that's it. gotta be friends with hyperlite to click like

god i totally could have won this with my friends painting of me! and i think i actually rode that board too.. i know i rode one of them, not sure if it was that one cuz i was the first one to get it

As it stands right now I am in 3rd by 1 vote. The voting was supposed to end at midnight, but what time zone I'm not sure. I went to bed at midnight central time and was a couple votes down. I woke up at 6am to find that I was 1 ahead. I have to assume it was to end at midnight west coast time since HL is in Seattle Wa. ?? I guess I'll see, I'm holding my breath till Cory from HL posts the results.

The board on the right is the one I am hoping for. Since I came in third I get don't get to pick. Hope the other 2 winners are smaller guys, cause the 145 is the only one big enough for me lol. My signature is still barely visible on the nose, right above the fin holes.

sweet! A shame you don't sign up for a category and the person with the most votes wins. That way you'd get the right sized board and us bigger guys would have less competition Smile

I'd say the odds are with you in getting the bigger board, I feel like those stick around the most in board shops. Let us know if you get your size!

I got word from Cory at hyperlite over the weekend, and the 145 is being shipped out today. Hope it will be here before the weekend. Yes the water will be cold as hell, and no I don't have a wet suit, but I'm gonna go for it anyway. I hope I can get some other fool to come out and snap pics Laughing

Woooot fed ex guy showed up today with my new (slightly used lol) '09 Murray. I'm super stoked to get this ride back. Taking it out tomorrow for the last runs of the '10 season.
