Hey everyone, a friend of mine is up for Miss TransWorld Wake. Unfortunately people have turned it into a beauty contest and to me a wake mag needs to be represented by a rider. I've ridden multiple times with Leah when she was at Tech and she rips! Appreciate the votes!

Sorry to hijack and yes, your lady-friend is very attractive and based on the photo she rides well, but I have to say I oppose this whole Transword pagent.

Over the past year, there has been more promotion of girls who look good in bikinis than pure girl shredders in the wakeboard media. Where are my girl shredders? There is nothing wrong with looking good in a bikini, but I want to see some ladies ride not just pose. I want to see Butler, Wing, Dallas and girls I have never heard of drop some bombs.

I subscribe to Transworld Wake and Maxim. I want my girls in Maxim to be mostly nude and I want my girls in Trans Wake to rip-it.

Ladies, if you want respect, learn how to back a trailer, drive a good double up, master a steezy method grab. If you want teenage boys taking your photo spread to the bathroom and doing who knows what with it enter this pagent.

All posers, male or female must be stopped.

I do plan on entering this contest, because I am a wakeboarder and want to show everyone that girls can ride as hard as guys. I spend my entire weekend wakeboarding and it's not about a party on our boat, it's about progression and pushing ourselves to the next level. When I'm not riding, I'm thinking about wakeboarding and planning my next outting or next time at wake school. Don't get me wrong,I do like to look good in a bikini but when it's time to shred, I'm there and trying to be the next Dallas Friday. That girl is inspiration to me....well Nicola Butler too. My friends know that I'm a wake crazy girl and why not share that with others. No harm in that............... Anyways, it's a cool contest for us girl riders and it's fun for us to dress up (model) too. I will say Talent over Beauty is better in my book!

I definetly respect the actual female wakeboard riders more than just the posers though....obvious reasons.

Oh and I voted for Leah (go Texas girl!)

Sucks that it's just a beauty contest but polls held like this are dumb anyway. Just open your browser in incognito mode (or whatever your particular browser calls their private mode), vote, close and reopen the browser, vote again, repeat to your heart's content.
I just gave Leah 10 or so votes since she's the only boarder. If I had more spare time today I'd just automate the process.
