I am building an automatic ballast system. I currently have the old school Fly High V-drive sacs that come in the zip-up bag. They have the waterbed connections on them (which wouldnt be a big deal because I would glue the connection on). Do you guys think that I should scrap these bags and spend the money on new ones? If I use these, I probably will not use the outer carry bag. Anybody ran these without it?

I guess you might as well run them until they pop or tear. I never had much luck with them once they were out of the outer shell, but you may have different results. If/when it does come time to replace them however I'd definitely spend the extra cash to get the Pro-X bags, I've been running a pair of them for 5 years now and they still look essentially brand new. _________________ wakeboards wakeboarding
