How many of you guys and girls would be stoked to be in wakeboarding mag.? Let me know if you would enter a contest to be in wakeboarding mag. Or if it would be just a waste of time

i think it depends on what you are in the magazine for. if you are in there because you are an up and coming rider then im sure you would be stoked beyond belief, but if you get in wakeboarder mag because you won a contest, then its kinda gay (in my opinion). i think its just one of those things that make you feel good when you earn it, and when its handed to you its not a big deal.

Been there...done that. Most people skip ads anyway...'cept the Reef girls. Hell, most of my friends are cancelling their subscription. I let mine lapse last month.

Probably not us. But there's a big decline in sales, since Alliance started. Keep that in mind. At some point, they're going to say, "hmmm, how can we keep our subscribers?"

Our group here made a small article in wakeboard mag, that was pretty cool.. Only if I could be good enough to be a reef girl would I want to be in that mag! hehe JK

Not to start a war but:
I don't trust you guys at Ediktid. I had a friend rep for you all for awhile. He emailed you guys a bunch of times later trying to place another order with you all and then couldn't get a response from calls or emails. I know there was starting to be a demand here in Austin for the gear. Now everyone has a bad taste in their mouth. I emailed you all and got a BS response that was full of lies about the rep and what he didn't do. I personally saw him try to contact you all on numerous occasions and then the rep that emailed me back said that he had been trying to get in touch with the Austin rep who he claimed hadn't returned his calls and just quit on him owing the company money. I will not support you guys for the fraudulent way that you have represented yourselves. Being on the board for 360wakeboard I will also tell everyone that I know and encourage our members to not purchase your clothing or work.
You guys had a good thing going with the designs and started to build a fan base here in Austin, and then you had to go and lie to me and treat the rep that I know horribly. Bad business practices all around.

The original post was from Ediktid, the clothing company. That is who I was talking to. I have been talking to them via email and I spoke to Daniel on the phone about the situation that I was referring to. The 2 parties involved know what I was was talking about and they are talking now.

I myself was already in Wakeboarding Magazine. It was back in 96 whenI first started riding. I wrote a letter in regards to a trampoline. They called it "Getting to know your tramp" it was way cool, not only did they answer my questions, but they did not burn me in their reply. I sent a picture along with thte letter and they published it with the pic and all. ...my husband still owes me that million dollars..........hehhehehe
