.... iwas jsut wondering if anyone di any certain weird old wives tales like dowsing them with vinegar or alchohol to recduce smell or mold? or somthing like that

my winter remedy is to put on a wetsuit put my feet in the boots and go ride Very Happy

venko7, yeah mine is called snowboarding, but ill have to give yours a try in th dead of december, ill launch my boat through the 10 inches of ice and see if i can get it to work

Gas the garage with pesticides and then put your board in there. Problem. Solved. Laughing


If you're really concerned with the boots getting munched on, put the board in the garage for the winter and keep just the boots in your closet. It'll be easier to deal with if you don't have room for the board in your room somewhere.

hang mine on the wall in the living room. look at it every day and wish it was summer so i could wakeboard. i do the same in the summer with my snowboards. lol haha

i don't have any of my own Crying or Very sad

but if i did i'd probably make sure they were thoroughly cleaned from the season, then put them in their box on a shelf in my closet. or, during the 2-3 months where it gets cold (read: 45-65F) i'll just put a wetsuit on, and ride Razz

for me to consider a day in the winter cold it would probably have to be at least -5 F an average day is between 10- 20 F but that depends on the month too. we also ALWAYS have a wind chill Puppy Eyes

lol thats y i love TX! I can ride till mid november easily w no rubber and then back in the water mid feb with maybe a long sleeve top and by march...nothing. gotta love it. then again mid summer and HOT water thats not even refreshing when you jump in gets old!

surfgirl... get on lake austin!! it's 65 degrees at the top... like 72 ish at the bottom.. really nice on those triple digit summers!!

That sounds perfect. Im in clear lake...in between houston and galveston...and its still 85 or so. mighta dropped a little with this light front we just had. weather is amazing right now!!
