|
|
Well Thursday went out with a buddy after work and on the last run of the day I here him yell go big, wish I would have had water in my ears, because I went big alright but tucked the front on the landing and bit my tongue so hard it had teeth marks all the way through and a nice 1/2" rip. When he picked me up he thought I had internal injuries because I had so much blood pouring out my mouth. Oh well other then talking funny and eating soup the past few days guess it could have been worse and besides it gave me a chance to install my new tower on my boat. So I guess we will give it a go again this week and hopefully I will keep my mouth shut, should make the wife happy |

might be smart to ride with a mouth guard if you dont feel stupid with one in, they even reduce concussions by 50 % _________________ "This suit is really crampin' my hardy boys, and its no mystery" |

| I always worry about this. Since I was little, I've always tended to chew on my tongue when concentrating (i constantly get made fun of when I play video games) and that goes for wakeboarding. I know it's gonna happen, I just don't know when, haha. |

| I did it. Went for a wake to wake 3 and cased the landing while sticking my tongue out (habit). chin hit knee and teeth bit tongue. had to get stitches in chin and in tongue. broke one of my back teeth. wearing a mouth guard ever since. It helps keep the tongue inside my mouth. |

A mouth gaurd does sound like a good idea... except will it hold the gross lake water in it like a trough? _________________ '08 Mobius LS |

Craig-R, you should probably consider a mouth guard during gestation. _________________
