Hey everybody, the closest place to go on my boat takes an hour and a half to drive ro on weekends, and me and my friends would split the winch coat 4 ways.

I know quite a few places that are alot closer to ride to pno. Save your money and use it at the cable park its what 15-20 mins from you? You will meet alot more people, be able to get advice from others, and hit all the rails and obstacles. Winching is cool and fun but theres not too many spots in the area you could hit with out getting some heat or unwanted attention. Those badboys arent light either your gonna need some sort of truck preferablly to transport it. My buddy hooks his up to the trailer hitch to move it around.

GnarShredd, my ollie is about 1 1/2 feet. i dont know how to get it any higher, but working on it for a day would probably help. and ive found local stuff anywhere from 3-4 feet to 8-12 deep.

I would go with the winch. I mean it doesn't stop you from being able to go to the cable when you can.

What's up guys. My name is Ryan Walsh, owner of Ridiculous Winches. I know this post is old but if anyone reads this, I have a couple demo'd units at the moment and do from time to time. Contact us through the site. We're ALWAYS up for a local demo!

Thanks Nick for the good word. Where's that video you promised, LOL. Everyone can see Nicks stuff on our site under riders as well. He's the man!

Later.

I'm looking at the wake model winch from ridiculous winches. I live in pompano, Florida. All the lakes around here are pretty crappy and small, but I do have the beach to go to. Would getting a winch be worth it? How much wooils that model winch weigh? And would building a suitable rail cost alot?
