I have to say Malibu. The VLX is sweet, and I like just about everything they make. But I also like some of the sangers, supras, and calabrias. (Hell I just like to be out on the water on a good boat)

where are you taking that pic from it seems awful high. One of those pads for the houses maybe? Great pic.

forwaken, I think most of the homes are actually higher. It is actually an old houseboat on another part of the lake that we didn't get to the day you were out. Let me know when you can make it out again. I just got my four year old out on her board and she was catching on pretty good.

That's cool, what board were you using. I almost bought a squirt last weak just to try and I tried to get up while holding my daughter on the board on Tuesday like you said. She swallowed a bit too much water this time but she already wants to try it again. Nice to have the family back I am sure! I'll see what I can do about getting out there again soon and see what the hype is all about on those Calabria's. Phateon's sure turned out nice.

I bought the hyperlite pictured below with the mini spins. They almost go up to her knees but they stay on pretty good. I actually held the tip of the board off of the side of the swim step to give her the feeling of the heel/toe movement. My wife held the rope to control the rope length and a friend drove. I held her to the side of the swim step so she would't be in the wash. I would let go for a few seconds at a time and she woudl ride it but she needs a little more help holding on to the handle. I also have one of those u-shaped trainer ski sleds that you can use if you come up again.

wakedemond,
Why is the Pro-V your favorite boat? Have you ridden behind it? What other boat brands have you ridden behind?

Ralph, in this order...
Super Air (or Super Sport...same hull) - big, steep, clean and super solid.
'03 Wakesetter VLX - big, not so steep, super clean and solid.
'00 - '02 X-Star - big, steep, usually clean and super solid.
Sanger V210 (yes, I said Sanger) - pretty big, kinda steep, super clean and solid.

Actually, I think he was wondering why you thought it was the best boat considering you probably haven't ridden behind most wakeboard boats. At least that's what I thought he meant.

That's exactly what I meant. Also, what is it about the boat that made it his favorite.
Oh well, people are defensive for a reason.

jumalian, you're such a jerk... I hate you.
Actually I've never been behind a lot of boats so I'm interested in your opinions. Especially since you've ridden behind a fairly large variety.
