| I know there are lots of parks in Germany, but anybody know of Cable parks in Germany that are beginner friendly? Specifically in and around the Cologne area? |

Yep, 2 weeks in the beginning of September so it's coming quick.
Google will translate the pages into English, so you can understand what they are saying. My German isn't good at all, I'm relying on my other half for those situations. |

Well I thought I'd give an update to my cable park visit in Germany. I ended up going to Bleibtreusee, Wasserski park. Which is quite large. I went with two other guys who had visited there often, it was a cool day so no lineups at all. There were some really good guys there hitting all the rails and jumps, the place is quite amazing. Nobody was even all that upset with my faceplants just off the dock, they were just giving me tips in Germany, which I didn't understand, but had a couple translators so it was good.
As for my progress it wasn't that great but I had lots of fun. One tip I will give is that if you plan on visiting a cable park, maybe do a few dock starts before you go. The start was my biggest issue, I was not used to getting yanked out at 20 mph right of the bat. |
