|
|
So ive been riding for a month or two on a cable park and back home is a going to be with a boat... I would really like to buy a liquid force Watson hybrid 139 board but im not sure its going to be fine for me. Because its an expert board wont that make it hard for me to get up? its a 3 stage aggressive rocker and ive read that thats harder to learn/ride on with little experience. so i just really want to make sure i wont spend all my money on it then not be able to ride with it
I weigh 140lbs, 5'10 male if that helps at all
thanks guys! |

| I found that nicer boards were way easier to get up on. everybody I bring out for the first time gets up very easily on my vault but never gets up on the cheap body glove or costco board. |

I have a Ronix One 137 (Aggressive three stage Rocker) and a Hyperlite 3DS (Continuous rocker) and neither of them are any harder then the other as far as riding goes. I have settled in on just riding the 3DS just for consistency of riding one board but I don't think I will notice any difference until I get much better at jumping, the only difference I feel at all is the 3DS seems more like a slalom when I go from toe side to heel side aggressively in the same manner that I ski but in reality I should be flattening the board out and starting a progressive edge not slamming the thing back like I am cutting through a slalom course, but it is a ton of fun |

I thought the only differnce was you could not use the outer most holes that most do not use anyway |

| the hole patterns changed in 09? or do you mean the base's to the bindings, because between my 08 one and my friends 09 ibex, theres no difference. and if you get a three staeg agreesive, you will notice that it takes alot more effort to get it going fast enough to clear w2w if your a novice, but it just takes a little getting use to |

| You cant use the outer most hole on the inside set of holes. I personally use the second one in and it works fine. |
