| Flying through the air with the front end high. Am I not popping with my back foot??? Previous photos show me standing fairly tall at the wake. It's driving me nuts. |

Check your handle position on take off, my brother does the same thing. From that pic your handle is way out of whack. _________________

You might have too much weight on your back during the approach. When you're coasting before edging in concentrate on weight distribution. _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

yep i had the same problem for years. old skiers habit. too much rear weight.
really trying to come in front foot heavy, and hold it threw the wake.
this has also vastly helped my switch riding. _________________

JeffreyCH, I agree...my handle is way outta wack. Most times I have to let go with one hand and/or it's practically being ripped from both hands.
I used to do ok...behind a pwc...now I am square 1 on form. Gonna rewatch the book related to HS/TS jumps and try again today.
Thanks-will give all ideas a shot.
If the rest of me was as high as the front I'd have some mad air. |

Also, try pulling yourself towards the boat a bit just before you hit the wake. This way you'll be going along with the boat instead of the boat just pulling you. _________________ Still looking for a Supra to buy |

Just keep your weight balanced between both feet when you approach the wake. Make sure to keep balanced even through takeoff. You are probably just leaning too much for takeoff. _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

Yep, too much weight on your back foot. Think about pulling both legs up under you once you've "popped" off the top of the wake. This will help you get that level "floaty" look as you cross the wake. Also, try to concentrate on keeping the handle low and close to your hip and keep BOTH hands on the handle for the HS W2W.
