Going to OWC tomorrow, any tips?

So I've never been wake boarding before and I don't know anyone that does, so I wanna try it out before I buy gear and end up not using it. Is there any tips or advice I can use there? As far as what time is the best time to go on a Sunday usually, what to do first, what not to do?

I've never ridden cable so no real tips on that. The main thing is to not get frustrated, relax and have fun. Watch what everyone else is doing, and just go for it.

well i only ride cable and what ivve learned is that in the beguinning ur going to fall a lot... average is 10 falls until u can stand up but usually its more thna that. but its so much fun! ive gone 5 times and im hooked on it. main thing to do is to not do anything. just relax dont do more than u have to cuz ull fall. just let the robe pull u. If u fight it u will lose. just relax and you will have so much fun! srry it took so long

I've been to OWC a few times. It seemed like the guys manning the docks were always willing to give tips to the newbies. Watch, listen, learn, and have fun.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I ended up not going on Sunday, thought Thursday would be better with the crowd and the 25% off cable.
