I'm not an expert on gear since i've been using the same board my older bro brought for me when i was younger so i've had no need to.
I'd look into buying a hyperlight/liquidforce/ronix from a few years ago, generally boards drop in price drastically the longer they've been out, so finding a cheap "mainstream" one shouldn't be too hard.
Good Luck! |

independent1, it will get you started. It will probably not get you very far along after you learn a few things, though. _________________

I just started myself... I found that doing the Craigslist thing worked out better, I got a used board but better quality than Hydro-Slide for about the same money. Lots of guys upgrade their boards constantly. Just make sure the bindings are in good shape. _________________ '08 Mobius LS |

You break more expensive gear. walk into a store ad they exchange it hassle free. |

Kwik tech and Hydroslide are junk. I had a hydroslide and ditched it after about 3 weeks, was a waste of money. Check ebay, craigslist, and the classifieds on this forum for better gear at a low price. Look for hyperlite, liquid force, ronix, cwb, and you really can't go wrong. _________________

you most likely will be able to find something in your area on craigslist or putting the word out on an older but high brand board for the same price of that board. good luck with the search and it's better to drop some cash on proven company _________________ www.wakeboardforum.net |
