Ronnie - Pull the trigger. You'll be glad you did. My friend Joe & I did the install on my boat (the video on their site/wakeboarder/boardstop/etc.) Took like 5 mins to install. If you aren't sure if you want one, come check out mine first. Its one of the best boad upgrades I've ever done. It should be a standard on all the new boats & cars really.

Thank you for considering our product.

The Boost Box interfaces directly to your head unit, but either IR or direct wired. We support:

IR
• Clarion
• Kenwood
• Pioneer
• Alpine
• JVC
• Sony

Wired
• Clarion (2009 and earlier)
• Kenwood (2009 and earlier)
• Sony
• JBL (including new “black box”)
• MB-Quart

This way, the boost box will work with the FM tuner, stereo CD player, or any USB stick or MP3 player you sync up to your head unit.

I am knowledgable about the product and I am available to help answer any technical questions you have so that you can make an informed decision.

I appreciate your kind reply.

Braon

Hello, I would like to speak with someone in regurding the Marine Boost Box. I actually want to use this item on the 2006 Halry Touring bike. My stock H-D / Karmon Harmon radio has taken another stuff where the speakers just shut off for no reason. I have to power the unit down then back up. It would cost me 8 weeks of down time to get it repaired not to mention the cost of $380.00 plus labor. So in the mean time I have gone with a Hawg Wired Harley to Sony radio adaptor module that allows me to use my hand controls to perform volumn, menu, and all the other features that one would normally do with a traditional DIN unit. However I have been unsucessful in finding a DIN unit that has Automatic Volumn Adjustment. I was searching the web and have come across your bolg section that speaks very highly about the Marine Boost Box system. I would like to speak with someone who is very familiary witht he unit. My questions are as follows:
what is the size of the unit, length, width, height?
How exactally does it work?
Does it use a speaker inside it to adjust the volumn level of the head unit?
Or does it work off the Tachometer / RPM's of the engine?

I can be emailed back at either this blog or I would really appreciate if you could also email me back at brccreations@gmail.com. thanks and look forward to hearing what you all have to say about it. thnaks again!

Howdy all, I apologize for my slow reply.

Yes, The Boost Box is interoperable with all Sony models which support a wireless IR remote.

The Boost Box is also interoperable with Sony head units which support their -WIRED- transom remotes for marine apps. This is a 3.5mm barrel audio plug in the back of the unit for accessory control.

Please let me know if i have helped to answer your question.

Also, The Boost Box will shortly be offered for motorbike use, but the development team is still in prototype phase. If you'd be interested in being involved in the beta test for this product. Please send me a private message with your contact information.

I just bought one of these...was a cinch to hook up. No fun getting to my amps-but can't blame them for that. Works as advertised-doesn't seem to work when we surf though. I think the boats lean is too much for the thing to compute.

But overall very happy and like the product.

You'll need to recalibrate it when you surf since the lean is different than riding wake. 10 seconds of calibrating and you are good to go. Very Happy

Action, also you can download your user manual pdf from

http://watersportinnovations.com/product-manuals

There is some additional information on page 7 that may also be of help.

If you dramatically change the load out on the boat, we do recommend a calibration if you have any issues.

I know we've had the unit working without any issue on a wakesetter with a wedge, balast, fat sac and 8 passengers knocking up a 3ft+ wake curling over on top.
