is 1100 hours too high on a Glastron 1991 19 1/2 5.0 180 horsepower? im looking for a good starter boat and they are asking $5,900. Any advice?

I just got a 87 SN 2001 with a 351 Ford V8 only 740 hrs for $3000, runs like a champ!

I agree... from the Glasstrons I have seen... the older ones don't hold up. I think you could get a higher quality boat for the same or less, like Bama Wake. A larger motor...just like in a car, lasts longer as it does not work as hard. Bama...I have the Winsor 351 V8 too!! It pulls like a mule! 830 hours.

independent1, thats to much for that boat. i would pay no more than 3 for it.
