How old were you when you bought your first boat??

I'm 20 years old and starting to get the bug to buy my first boat.
I've found a couple boats I think would suit me well around 15k

I'm just curious as to how old every one was when they made the best purchase of their lives??

I'm 20 now but haven't bought a boat. My dad says once I graduate I'm buying our '04 X-Star off him so he can go back to his precious ProStar's Laughing so I'll be 22 probably.

15. A 9ft Spitfire with 20 HP. Most fun per $ imaginable, at about $2500. Wakeboarding didn't exist yet so no wake wasn't an issue.

22 or 23. First thing I bought out of college after my student loans were paid off. Best decision of my life and will be upgrading soon. It's easy to get a good cheap boat especially if you can find one of the boats listed on the sticky in the boat forum section.

18. Bought my dads 2001 Nautique. Had to sell it when I moved out of state to California. 27 bought a 2 year old ski centurion. 30 bought a new VLX Wakesetter, sold 3 years later. 33 had a new malibu every year for the next couple of years until I got out of the industry.

Now, boatless and loving not having the headache that goes along with them...but still have plenty of avenues to get on the water, although I do miss hooking up and going any time I have a free couple of hours every once and a while.
