| I live right in West Palm. It'll be hard to find a pull if you do not have a boat. Orlando is a good 2 and a half hours away. I like it here, it's just hard to find a pull sometimes. Ski rixen is close around and that plays is really good. If you do end up moving down here PM me. |

We live in Boynton Beach, south of WPB. We live on the canal that feeds LAKE IDA & LAKE OSBORNE. It's nice!!!!
There's a PRIVATE LAKE area in Okeeheelee Park consisting of 5 lakes for water skiing & wakeboarding. It requires a registration of the boat (My SeaRay BR180 is not on the approved list) and membership is required <for boat> - but finding a pull is usually meeting up with a can a fuel...
We have a SeaRay 180 4-cyl. It's fun and you get wet; but without a tower or ballast, it's just a boat.
There are some GREAT wakeboats on Lake Ida, but my step-son gets freaked out when I begin motoring over to ask for a pull...
The weather and water is great. Now the Lake is about 71 degrees. My ss gets chilled in it, but I LOVE IT!!
Congrats on moving to FL _________________ '99 SeaRay BR180 3.0 w/Alpha 1

Basically if you have your own boat anywhere in florida is a good place for riding. If not we have 4 cable parks within a couple hours driving distance depending on where you move to. Like mentioned above okeeheele is an awesome spot very waterski biased but overall spot is amazing. Theres osbourne near there which is a pretty decent lake sometimes the water level gets low. Markham is an incredible spot but its South and West of wpb.
For anyone who lives near Rixen and hasnt gone, just do it! Every one there will help you out give you pointers especially the regulars, so dont be intimidated. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded. |
