Hey guys,

so i'm thinking about selling my Liquid Force Witness since i never use it and getting something different.

background:

Im 6ft about 155lbs and id say an intermediate rider. I can do wake to wake (but have to really try for it), some beginner tricks and can almost land a forward flip but not much more then that.

i ride behind an older 1999 malibu wakesetter vlx with ~1200 lbs of ballast @ 20 mph

the board i favor right now is my 2007 Hyperlite Calibre 139 w/o fins. i love the way this board rides and i feel very confident on it.

i also have a 2008 Byerly Legacy 54" that is fun, but some times the pop off the wake is a bit intimidating... but fun non the less.

the questions:
i was thinking about getting a flex board to add to the collection. my gut says go with the response because of its continuous rocker. since the flex boards are known for the soft landing i am entertaining the idea of getting the recoil. I think that the pop from that board would give me more time to execute the tricks.

lastly... what size would you recommend?

thanks in advance

recoil. being 6' i would look at a 142 so you can get your stance wider where you need it. with the wider stance youll notice youll be able to land, and save alot more stuff. and just be more stable in general.

on thing to not when buying. 08 and previous boards and bindings have a 8" spacing for the binding bolts. 09 and newer have a 6" spacing.
they will mix and match but you loose mounting options. usually the innermost and outermost positions. its best to have both 8" or both 6" spacing. i assume buy your boards your bindings are also 08 or older?

thanks for the advice. i was always under the assumption that a longer board was more for beginners or bigger people. Thats very interesting and makes sense though.

i'm going to look into the recoil now.

i was a little unclear about your question at the end though.
