Hey guys, new to the forums, only been wakeboarding for a summer or so now and I am finaly starting to do some tricks. I just had a few questions about jumping w2w.
First of all, is it possible to jump w2w no matter how small the wake is? I only ask this because I wakeboard behind my dads 17ft fishing boat with a 115 horse motor and the rope pretty much drags in the water because it hooks so low to the boat. |

| Also, if we did end up getting a more wakeboard friendly boat, what would you guys recommend for a boat under 15k? |

| Yes, it is possible to jump w2w. I ride right now behind a 155hp waverunner. And trust me the wake on that is really small. And maybe with your rope problem have you ever thought of a pylon. For a boat under 15k I would look for a used boat that maybe you could add a tower to the boat. |

| 15g's should get you onto a very nice wakeboard boat with a tower. Probably no ballast weight though. I can't really suggest anything as I'm not in the market and my prices would differ as I'm in canada. |

15k can get you a nice wakeboarding boat but it will be older and you'll have to maintain it (you have to maintain all boats so this isn't a con to me).
Directly answering your question, yes you can wake jump any wake assuming you have a reasonable line length. If I put you out on a 150' line no one could w2w. I would suggest taking video and posting it and we can tell you right away if you're riding too long for your boat's wake.
(If upgrading boats is at all an option I definitely recommend it. We got our sunsetter for just under 10k when everything was put in it and you can weight it and it puts out a really nice wake. Check out the boat section sticky for price point boats.) _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |

Thanks for all of the replies!
I actually went out last night and shortened the rope by 10ft and it helped a bunch. Also, I watched some of the vid of me, and I think I need to cut back towards the wake harder. My best jump so far is about 3/4 of the way across the wake. I think I could've went w2w on one jump, but I got nose high and fell over backwards. I think at this point I just need more practice. |

| Just so you know, when i was learning w2ws i kept landing on the upside of the wake which caused very hard landings, if this happens to you like it did to me, you will get frustrated. But keep trying trust me when you land on the other wake it is a very positive feeling! |
