So now that I am up on board I noticed today I feel like I am "pushing" water with my board. I actually have some spray coming out the front of the board. Am I leaning too much weight on the front of the board? I was trying to lean back just a little but maybe it was not enough.

Bring on the flaming I am about 220lbs riding a 136 Obrien Vice. I was told when I bought it that it was a much wider board so I could ride it a little shorter that normal. |

Dunno about the width thing, I would say it's to small. I tried my brothers ERA 137 over the weekend just to ride something different. I had the same problem, it felt like the board wanted to go under. I had my driver bump up the speed to around 24-26 and it was better. Other then that I would suggest getting a bigger deck, 141+. _________________

I've got to agree with Jeff, you want a bigger board. Looking at the specs of the Vice, the 136 and 141 are the same width at 17 inches. My Liquid Force Trip 142 is also 17 inches. The Vice is also a 3-stage rocker, so it's gonna push a little more water than a continuous.

I rode again today and I think it was a little faster speed (about 22) and it didnt seem as bad. Unfortunately I paid for this one and unless I can find someone to buy it from me for the same price its probably not going anywhere. I just wish I knew someone else that had a bigger board so I can see if there is a difference.

Would it be possible to exchange it at the place you bought it? I'd take it back and tell them they sold you the wrong size and whoever helped you out must not know jack about what they are doing _________________

Might be possible Jeff. Think a sharpie would hide the two little scratches on the bottom?
