So I got the the kids all new boards and took them down to the lake. My 11 yr who has only gone out once got right up and started shedding he fell and his heal side edge of the board cracked the back of his head right open. After a trip to the hospital and a half dozed staples in his dome he is fine. After we got back I tried to put my heal to the back of my head I made it to my lower back. It is amazing how flexible these kids are. Looks like I am headed out to get him a helmet because he is addicted after 2 times out.

Man.. he must be a trooper. I remember when I was younger i took a spill with a waterskiand id caught me in my head.. I don't even touch a ski anymore.

When we were at the hospital he asked the Dr. if he could go back out that day while he was getting his head stapled. He will be out this weekend after he gets his stitches out this time with a helmet
