|
|
I just got a 2007 MB 52 with triple up ballast. It didnt come with the manuals and I cant seem to figure out the ballast system. it has 3-3 way switches for front, left, and right. I can hear each individual pump go on in fill and empty, but nothing seems to change. the gauge never goes up and in empty i cant see or hear anything coming out. there iare also 2-2 way balancing switches for front/right-left and left-right. im not sure what these do at all. im not even sure where it picks up or empties the water.
any help would be great. |

For my 2009 here is what I do; To fill, press the top of the ballast switch to open, should light (though the lights don't always work). You can't be moving to fill. Then toggle the gauge switch to see the tanks are filling. When you get to the desired level press the bottom of the switch to close gate. To empty press top of switch to open get, then you need to get on plane for them to empty, 60-90 seconds on plane will empty a full ballast.

yellj, his 07 doesn't have the pure-vert system
todddv, the left-right-front switches just change which tank the gauge is reading from. Those boats had some problems with the impellers in the ballast system, I'd start there. |
