i've read all the continuous rocker vs 3 stage articles...however, i was wondering if anyone who rides a continuous rocker wakeboard.. is it still possible to get a fairly decent pop off the wake? and are there tricks on a 3 stage that you can't do with a continuous rocker shape wakeboard?
thanks |

I ride a 3 stage and a continuous back and forth, and in my opinion I dont think the difference between the two rocker styles really effects my "pop" off the wake. If anything, the size of the board, speed, and the wake size/shape are what dictates most of my level of pop off the wake. I seem to be able to get the same amplitude and can land all the same tricks....not to say you cant tell a pretty big defference between the two however... I think it comes down to which one feels more natural for your riding style.
I have to say that when I went from a 142 continuous, to a 146 3 stage I have much more prefered the 146, the 3 stage coupled with being a bigger board just feels much better to me personally. _________________ Live every day as if it were your last and then some day you'll be right. ~H.H. A continuous rocker will not limit you in any way. It will just give you different ride characteristics. _________________ Today is a chance to become a greater person than the person we were the day before. |
