I can do w2w pretty regular now, and have started doing spins and grabs, and even "TRYED" some flip tricks. Now I know I got some trim issues, because im the norm driver. And no one eles knows how to trim up right.
Am I im the Sweet spot of the wake or to far back? I try and have them pull me at 22-25. any pointers to give me?

I am a cable boarder, but it looks like youre to far back on the wake, but you do extend your legs nicely,

I agree with Medina, looks like you are too far back. How far back do you ride? I think I am about 60 ft back (I have an I/O as well). Looks like if you came in some the wake would be bigger.
On the topic of driving. Just take some time and teach them how to use the trim and clean up the wake. They should be able to learn fairly quickly and it will make riding much more enjoyable for you. I've already taught 1 or 2 people how to properly tow me behind mind and I'm planning on teaching another fairly soon. Just have to be patient.

| i had problems like this, you need to be a couple of feet closer, and trim the engine up as much as you can, leaving the propeller in the water. try working with speed and slowing down a little bit. get weight on the back of the boat, and thats about all you can do.

| make sure that wake is clean not washing out, and play around with rope lengths, id say your in it just go what feels right, not to close or you'll limit time, hope it helps,

mucksoup, Another thing with trimming up is you will need more weight in the bow. I like to have 5 people on the boat, 1 in the drivers seat, passenger seat, and 3 in the bow. Everyone I teach to ride, I teach to drive.

+1 to JeffreyCH. Weight goes in the front in an I/O-not in the back.

How fast are you going? So, the I/O's need the weight in the bow, not the back??
Is 55ft a good length?

| With my i/o I put a 350lb sack up front and another 350 lb sack in the ski locker. Then I trim up till the wake cleans up.
