when youre trying to get up, stay in the seated sidways position just a couple second longer then you think you should. most people try to get up too fast. after the first time getting up though it just happens very easily.
dont rely on the center fin for steering. think of how a snowboard turns(if youre familiar with this), you get on the edge of the board, while controlling each is different, the concept is the same. Dont get into bad habits early on because they're hard to break.
But MOST importantly, have a blast. Welcome to the sport and the forums. Good luck. |

oh ya dude you'll do fine just take it easy and learn all your basics before you try anything crazy,
#1- make sure everything fits properly
#2- make sure the boat driver knows roughly what he's doing
#3 - play around A LOT, experiment
#4 - if your not falling then your not trying!
have fun |
