i have a 15" boston whaler right now that i could tradde in to possibly get a new 18" boat with a bigger wake that would have to be under 25k. problem is, my brother is a wakeskater and loves to fish(BORING). so we need a boat that can do both and can do both WELL. we also need a tower that can pull me and cover the boat. if anyone can help with finding one please tell me.

In your description you have described a boat that does not exist. There does not exist a boat that is good for fishing and good for wakeboarding. You can sacrifice on one sport or sacrifice on both sports.

With 25k you could get a nice used DD boat from the sticky in this forum AND buy a decent used fishing boat.

The short answer is you will never get 1 boat that is good for both sports, fishing and wakeboarding are far too different.

If you decide to stick with one boat, get a used v-drive and you can fish out the back.

Wakeboarder3780, is right about that. I tried this a few years ago and got a fish/ski boat and it was complete waste of money. It was a horrible wake boat and was a mediocre fishing boat. Instead of getting a boat that did both, I ended up with a boat that did neither.

Actually, a boat that's good for both does exist, just not within your price range.

Just save up an extra 30k+ and you're golden...

What about the tahoe Q6. Comes with a tower and a trolling motor, not the best in either category but useful in both.
