I would disagree. That board is designed to really be charged at the wake. From my experience (on the 2010 new shape) it feels somewhat lacking in the pop department, unless you're raley cutting it. On a mellow edge, the pop just wasn't pushing me up very hard. It feels like you can't really dig the edge enough on a mellow cut for the board to get much punch off the wake. It's a great performer, spins easily and releases well, but I feel like you could definitely progress faster on a different platform, like a PS3, Witness, or Bill _________________

The sales team suggested I stay away from this board as its more of an aggressive style and not really for a beginner. I ended up getting the 2010 Liquid Force Trip package with the Index boots. took it out to the cable park and it felt like a good fit.  |
