are the new 03 origins still warrantied against sliders?

I don't see why they wouldn't be? I kinda wish I hadn't bought my Swampthing... I'm really liking some of the new shapes... don't like the new graphics for the skull shape though...

Yea but Hyperlite doesn't warranty it if you break it (I don't think)

Yeah, the 03 Origin is warrrantied. I have an 03 hand out and it has that the "warranty covers ALL ridding conditions, even sliders. Who else can say that?". They are the only ones that you can get a slider board that will be replaced if you break it on a slider/kicker.

my friend rides for origin and he did a inside out blind 180 and the thing busted in half.. just a piece of advice about origins .. haha

That is strange that it "busted in half".... my roomate rides for Origin and we have used and abused the boards with out any problems. we have tried all sorts of things from the normal wake to wake, sliders, kickers to sliders and even some jack @ss type stunts involving the street and skateboards. I have never seen one break in half or have any damage done to it, besides the boarding on a skatebord to sliding on a rail to falling in the street by my roomate.

yeah i know this is the only one i have seen do that .. it was weird.. like both the top and bottom graphic layers peeled off. and it broke in two places in the middle.. it was the second day riding it two.. he just got it a couple days before.. i dunno but i have never seen a board break like that.. especially just on a inside out blind 180 haha

So it was a defect... They stand by their products... that's reason enough for me to buy their boards!
