|
|
So my questions are:
I have an old school ski boat i/o with a closed bow and was going to add a bow ballast (+/- 1000lb). The question is whether it will slide or roll back towards the sterndrive since it will laying on the floor and not in any confined space.
The second question is whats the closest people ride to get to the best part of their wake? I shortened the rope to about +/- 55' but was thinking that was too short. If i keep it at 65' it seems that the wake isn't as steep or firm.
Thanks in advance! |

I ride at 60 feet and it feels good there. And you will NOT want to just put 1000lbs up fornt without making sure it cant bounce around. Put the bags in, fill them them up, then put some kind of walls up to stop them from moving. Make sure water can get back out, possibly cut slits on the bottom as an escape path.this is all just my opinion of course. But once the water gets sloshing around those bags will move. |

My 600lb+ bag never moves an inch when I put it between the bow seats and fill it.
