This could be alot of fun for some of you guys to check out. I mess around the surf league but Im going to do the wake league this season to see how savy I really am.

ya i figured it out lol but can you switch up your team members for each league or do your team members all have to be the same for each league?

this should be a real close outcome in the end. because everyone is going to have close to the same roster.. should be pretty crazy!

I'm really wondering if as the season progresses they will add Bob Soven, and I think Lyman would have been a good low price pick if they would have used the top 45 from last year instead of the top 40.

here is what they said about bob..

To eliminate opinion based Values, we base Values on real world stats - in this case - last years results. If we were to add Bob now, so as to not upset the real world ratings, we would put him in the last spot Valued at 1 Mill. Everyone would put them on their team.

For Event 2, we combine the results of the 1st event and last years rankings to come up with a new Value for each rider for the Event. This gives the Rookies a real world Value and they still come in at a good value based on not having a ranking last year - but not at 1 Mill where everyone would grab them.

We did this for Moto with positive results. Ryan Dungey was not available for the 1st event. He finished 2nd and came in Valued in the Top 10 for event 2 - which put him at a Value that was a tougher decision than picking him up at 1 Mill.

And as far as some of the guys not riding - that gives you an advantage by knowing that and that is exactly how fantasy sports work. You should have an advantage by being in the know.

Ok, so they are bringing in people as the season progresses. That makes me wonder if they will increase the size of the field to pick from then or if they will just drop the last few in line.

The thing you guys gotta remeber is you dont get points by what your riders place as. You get points for their scores. So say you have harley. He gets 80 in semi 87 in quarter finals and a 90 in finals all the scores add up.

So your lower end guys who score high in the first couple rounds can really make up the difference here and set you ahead of the pack! This is my first year playing the wake so itll be interesting to see how it goes. I think im smart but I might get wooped

FASL is absolutely awful. There pricing to salary cap system is completely bogus. I played fantasy surfing and quit after two events. You can't even make a team
of all middle ranked guys. Until they learn how to fix their values I will continue to say they suck. I made a team but with how their system is, I really only have 2 guys that I kind of want to root for. I guess it's better than nothing. A guy made a fantasy league for the WQS events (basically the minor leagues of surfing) and it ran very well because he just used the same
value system as fantasysurfer.com. Pro wakeboarding is almost identical with 40 guys instead of 44 in pro surfing

how do we know who is going to be riding and whos not? i think we all had atleast 1 rider who got 0 points, did they not ride or just suck that bad today?

researching the status of your riders before each stop is key. to figure out who is hurt who is not riding and such

i did and cudnt find nothing about the last few guys on my team if they were riding or not. u have more info than us so where screwed on knowing whether there riding or not. we just gotta pick and hope lol

well look at Andrew Adkison. He called me other day saying he wasnt riding and he rode today and won his heat. Its crazy. Aaron Rathy was not suppose to ride because of his knee and he rode! its gonna be a interesting year for this new fantasy wake league its my first year playing so dont believe everything i say haha.

then why the hell is on the roster? wish we would have known all this before.. so who else isnt going to be riding at all? because its pointless to even have them on there. sorry im just real competitive and that kinda makes me mad when other people know all this stuff and the rest of us are just screwed. makes no sense that he is even on there if anything he shud be at 2m or 1m.
