My 04 ERA bindings are killin my feet. Looking to get more comfortable this season as I am getting more serious about the sport.
Budget $200
Comfort
OT & CT which way to go
Still a Beginner but want something I can progress into
Found some 09 Liquid Force Transit bindings for $159 + 15% off on evogear.com. They have good reviews, but the sales guy told me my binding placement will be limited due to having a hyperlite board. Is this this a bad direction to go? anyone with the same setup with limited binding adjustment? Link to the bindings below & FYI they have 15% off all gear for the next couple days even the discounted stuff

hey Butcher, I haven't had any issues yet with limited binding placement, but I do have an opinion on CT or OT bindings. I have ridden in both and absolutely love CT bindings. For me it's all about the feel of my feet, and with CT bindings it just feels like you have more control of the board when carving it up and when you are on the brink of biting it hard having a better chance of saving it because of the foot leverage the CT has on your foot. Personally I would go with a CT if the bindings are just for you and no one else will be using. Nothing against OT bindings but I prefer CT. Also if someone else will be riding your board consistently look into OT as the foot size may differ between the two of you.
Ronix CT bindings are COMFY! if you can find a pair in your price range

I buy almost everything from EVO. Wetsuit, bindings, ropes, wakeboards etc. I have had nothing but good experiences with them. No I don't work for EVO hehe but I wish I did. Try to find things in outlet section and look for offer codes and you can get a steal of a deal. _________________ To first succeed you must risk it all... |

kudos on the tribal dance, and I have been told that the best thing to do is burn whatever is holding you back... Supposedly you make double the progression when you burn things instead of throwing it away...
haha, funny superstitions _________________ 2003 Mastercraft 209

mobywake, I don't believe in stupid superstitions. I consider just consider myself a consistent person that always racks my board on top, stretches upper-body before lower, puts my left binding on 1st, jacket on while in the water, grab toe side edge to stretch out the calves right before I scream out lets get it on before i ride. Nothing at all superstitious nothing at all. |
