Binding question

I bought the 08 Shane off of Stangkilla and my 09 Ronix Divides won't go narrow enough for me. I found 08 Watson OT for 130 bucks. Here is the description below

*Optional 6” plate available for use with all 2008 LF Boards (can be used on 2007 and older boards, but will have less stance width options)… lower profile, lighter plate that allows board to flex more naturally.

My divides are 6" and I need 8" will these work?

Is this a good deal?

i've had this bindings before, it's a good one. this should work as this is an 08 model which is a match with your 08 board.

I received my watsons from perfomance ski and surf yesterday but they sent me the 6" plate. I called them and they are shipping me out the 7" plates and told me to keep the 6" in case I upgrade boards later. great people to deal with.
