A little disappointed with Wetsounds

So after a lot of reading I decided I wanted ot buy as WS-420. Read a lot of great things. Went to their website, said it was $299 to buy from them, called the number and said can I buy one please. I live in canada so they won't sell it to me. OK, thats weird but U'll go through the process. He gives me a phone number of a distributor, who I call, who gives me the number of a shop in a city 2 hours away. I call the shop, and ya they can order it but it's $500. After some discussion, he says he can order it and he'd sell it to me for $400. So if I wanna buy it, I have to spend $100 more (OK shipping would be $20), wait 2 weeks for them to get it in, then drive two hours there and back to pick it up or pay to have them ship it to me.

Why can't I just buy it online for the online price? Seems silly to me. Times have changed and most consumers research and shop online, so you shouldn't discriminate against canadians, let us buy the products.

It was butter out there tonight so I feel better now.

Wetsounds is a great company. I just wanted to touch base with leviwynnyk, and let him know to just get some more info and figure out why the prices are they way they are. I'm sure there's a good reason.

Shipping from the US to Canada you have to deal w/ customs which inflates the pricing. If you can ship it to somewhere in the US and pick it up from there you'd save on those fees.
