Today was AWESOME!

Went to the lake today. I was just riding around landing everything I can do pretty clean, so I thought I'd try a tantrum. First try landed it, but let go of the rope. Tried again and got close, and the 3rd time BAM I stuck it. I was so damn excited Laughing

First time I ever landed it. I've been wanting to do that trick for years.

Notonly did I land it today, but I got them very consistant. After that first time I was throwing them all day after that, and I was throwing them big too. I wish I had some pictures or video of them, but we forgot and left the cameras in the truck. Next time out I'll be sure to get some pics.

Man I love that feeling after you land a new trick. I'm still feeling it now.

Haha I tried 3 tantrums the first time I landed a 360. Belly flopped each time but it was fun.

That was my goal for this summer too. Guess I achieved that early. This was only my 3rd time out.

congrats!!!! gotta agree today was a good day for me also, finally hit my w2w toeside i've been avoiding learning for the past year and a half, again congrats on your tantrum!!! it's on my list for this year too

Last year was my first solid summer of wakeboarding and I spent it learning w2w heel and toeside. And trying to learn some switch riding. This year I want to do a tantrum and 360. Basically 1 good flip and 1 spin. If I get those down early I'll try throwing in some grabs on the 360's and whatever.

Tantrums have been giving me crap for years. Thought I was finally about to land them this year but still no luck. That trick is just a hole in my progression, theres something about it. Congrats though

And what about raleys behind a boat, are they that difficult? Then landing a Krypt or so would look better then a tantrum or?

LFADAM, there simple man, once you get the hang of it. You just have to charge the wake really hard and do the little switch to your toeside edge to "trip" the wake, and just try to make your jump at the very top of the wake and not to early.
